**Woman’s Slope Style Snow Boarding
Torah Bright made her first challenge of a possible three medal haul at the games in the final of the Slope Style. Her first run of 64.75 saw her come in a 7th place at this point. Everyone was making minor mistakes along the way and it was going to take a near perfect clean run to make it to the medal stand. Torah’s second run was a bit better coming in at 66.25, with minor mistakes in both runs it was not Torah’s night.
Final Standings – 1) USA – Jamie Anderson (95.25), 2)Finland – Enni Rukajarvi (92.50), 3) Great Britain – Jenny Jones (87.25)
**Woman’s Ice Hockey
Russian Federation and Germany doing battle in an early round. Last Score was Russia – 3 and Germany – 1
Alex’s 3rd run – 53.323 for a total of 2.40.537 which puts him in 30th position. Alex is about to take his 4th and final run of the competition, currently in 32nd place – 53.507 for a final total of 3:34.004. His third run was his best at 53.323.
Final Men’s Standings: Gold to Germany, Silver to Russia and Bronze to Italy. Alex finished in 33 spot.

Men’s Long Program – Russia won
Ladies Long Program – Russia won
It is looking like that final standings will be Russia, Canada and the USA. Russia has enough points to secure the win. It will come down to Canada and the USA to lock in the final two spots. The final was Gold – Russia, Silver – Canada, Bronze – USA
**Men’s Down Hill
From the USA – Bode Miller is currently in 6th spot with a time of 2:06:75. Bode finished in 8th place.
**Ladies Ski Slope Style
Anna Segal was our hope for a medal in this event. On her first run Anna scored 77.00 which saw her in third place. On her second run the soft snow was getting worse and Anna was not able to complete a clean second run and scored a 28.80. Her best run of 77.00 would see her finish in fourth place.
**Men’s Half Pipe
We had three Aussies in action over night, Scotty James, Kent Callister and Nathan Johnston all took part in qualifying. In qualifying rounds if you finish in the top three you are straight to the finals, places four to nine you are off to the semi finals and if you finish 10th place or more, your day at the office is done.
Scotty’s first run netted him a score of 68.50, his second run was only 15.00 due to catching an edge. He wound up finishing the day in 10th spot and his day was done. James would finish 10th over all
Kent first trip down the pipe saw him in 6th place with a score of 87.00, his second run score was 25.50 due to a wipe out. He finished over all in 9th and was off to the semi final run. Kent was our best finish at 9th place.
Nathan finished the qualifying heat in 7th place with a run of 86.00. Nate wiped out on his second run and could only manage a score of 25.50. Johnston finished in 13th place over all
