Dear Coach Walsh — August 15, 2015

Dear Coach Walsh

You gave us a blank canvas of which you said that we would fill in the blank spaces. Since you have left us just over a month ago, we have brought home 3 of the 4 matches that we have played. The painting is appearing in places all over the place. It makes us smile as it reminds us of you.

Eddie found a new pocket today the Etihad Stadium, kicking his 100th Goal as a Crow. He has concreted his place in the Crows line up. Yes Coach, Tex has learned how to kick straight. We are still working on Danger to sign his contract. The way Danger is playing, those Victorian teams don’t stand a chance. His heart is here with us.

There is a new baby Crow. Her name is Gigi and she is the daughter of Andrew and Alana. You would fall in love her, I know that you would be the proud Grandpa in her life. Try not to worry we will look after her. She is beautiful, I think she has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger…hehe.

We thought of you and Coach Dean today, talking shop and enjoying how the boys played. Elite and Terrific I have a feeling were used a lot. I don’t think we have seen the boys play that well. They were finally enjoying football.

We miss you heaps. It is getting easier as each day passes but we will miss you and we all in our own ways still talk to you and wish you were here.

We will come by again soon
